Friday’s show at Terminal 5 in New York was one for the ages. Odesza, headlining the show on their In Return World Tour, brought their best with this performance, solidifying this Seattle-based duo as one of the best live electronic acts of our time. Harrison and Clayton synchronized their energy with their instrumentation in such a way that a lasting effect was made on Terminal 5—you could feel the crowd’s excitement throughout the show. Rüfüs Du Sol and Kasbo also had incredible sets, bringing a refreshingly new sense of alternative dance music to the table. Rüfüs, who we interviewed before and whose story we will be sharing soon, absolutely blew us away. It was our first time seeing them live; the atmosphere they created with drums, guitar, and keyboard reinvigorated our appreciation for the band dynamic.
